Entry requirements

WASC, GCE(O/L), SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent, with credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and one subject from: Biology/Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics / Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metal Work, Further Mathematics, Geography, Economics / Commerce.

The National Diploma in Computer Engineering Technology programme’s objectives are that on completion of the course of instructions, graduates should be able to:

  1. • Carry out routine maintenance and repair of computers;
  2. • Design and map-out the layout for computers;
  3. • Install, set-up and operate computers;
  4. • Prepare simple Bill of quantities and specifications for computers;
  5. • Select and use appropriate instruments to carry out simple tests and measurements on all sub-systems in a computer and its peripherals
